Faculty and Staff Accomplishments

George Kirsch, Ph.D., professor of history and author of Golf in America released the audiobook version of his book in October. In addition, Kirsch delivered the lecture, Golf and American Democracy at Quinnipiac University last month.

Zella E. Moore, Psy.D., assistant professor of psychology, recently published the chapter "Acceptance-based Behavioral Therapies and Sport" in the text Handbook of Applied Sport Psychology. In addition, she also presented five papers and one symposium, and served as the chairperson for a symposium at the annual convention of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies in San Francisco, Calif.

Margaret Toth, Ph.D., assistant professor of English, will be presenting the paper "Visual Media and African-American Modernism" at the South Atlantic Modern Language Association conference in Atlanta, Ga., (Nov. 5-7), and will present on the MELUS panel (Society for the Study of Multi-Ethnic Literature in the U.S.).
