Faculty and Staff Accomplishments

George Kirsch, Ph.D., professor of history and author of Golf in America released the audiobook version of his book in October.

Zella Moore, Psy.D., assistant professor of psychology, recently published the chapter "Acceptance-based Behavioral Therapies and Sport" in the text Handbook of Applied Sport Psychology.

Margaret Toth, Ph.D., assistant professor of English, will be presenting the paper "Visual Media and African-American Modernism" at the South Atlantic Modern Language Association conference in Atlanta, Ga., (Nov. 5-7), and will present on the MELUS panel (Society for the Study of Multi-Ethnic Literature in the U.S.).

Welcome New Employees

Manhattan College welcomed four new employees this month including: Nancy Miranda (adult degree completion), Kyle Ochwat (assistant coach for men's lacrosse), Thomas Reilly (O’Mallley Library) and Jason Wingate (operations manager/men's basketball).

Gary Dillard, campus security (15 years); Martha Longo, residence life/housekeeping (10 years); Kathleen Creaven, O'Malley Library (five years); and Sharn Simon, O'Malley Library (five years).
