Earlier this year, Manhattan College senior River Castelonia '17 co-founded Havenlabs, a nonprofit that designs 3D-printed prosthetic limbs for disabled veterans. Castelonia's inspiration comes from his grandfather, who spent 25 years in the United States Air Force. |

College Mourns the Loss of Two Beloved Christian Brothers
Br. James Leahy, FSC, a De La Salle Christian Brother for 70 years, who served as an educator for much of his career in the United States, Italy, and Africa, died on Oct. 26. Br. John Loehr, FSC, a former director of physical plant at Manhattan College, passed away on October 30.

Eight Alumni Inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame
Eight former student-athletes, spanning five decades of Jasper athletics, were inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame class of 2016. Two championship teams also were recognized - the 1995-96 women’s basketball MAAC champions and the 2006 baseball MAAC champions, which defeated top-seeded Nebraska in the NCAA Tournament.
