Experiencing Veterans and Artists Collaboration (EVAC), an art project that appeared at Manhattan College’s O’Malley Library in the spring, has moved to a pop-up space in midtown Manhattan’s Flatiron Building. Two recent Manhattan College alumni who served in the armed forces – Kirsten Battocchio ’18 and Michael Giraldo ’19 – have their stories told through the EVAC art gallery.

James Patterson '69 Supports Newest Group of Patterson Scholars
Twenty Manhattan College students will receive a James Patterson scholarship this year. It is the eighth consecutive year that Patterson, the best-selling author and philanthropist, has supported the program, which awards scholarships to 10 juniors and 10 seniors.

Engineering a Safe Ride for Children
Mechanical engineering professor Parisa Saboori, Ph.D., began working with engineering students to create a motorized car seat back in 2015. Inspired by seeing her own child slumped in the back seat of her car, Saboori's goal was to design a seat that better positions an infant’s neck when they fall asleep.
