Manhattan College was one of the institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs as a top producing institution for the Fulbright Program, the U.S. government’s flagship international educational exchange program. During the 2019-20 academic year, three graduating seniors received Fulbright awards.

Salesforce President Anthony Fernicola Receives De La Salle Medal
Anthony Fernicola ’78, ’82 (MBA), president and chief customer officer at Salesforce, received the 2020 De La Salle Medal at Manhattan College’s annual De La Salle Medal Dinner on February 6. A record-breaking $2.6 million in essential, unrestricted income was raised as a result of the event.

NYC Media Lab to Deepen Jasper Connections
Being located in the media capital of the world has its perks. Manhattan College has joined NYC Media Lab, a consortium that facilitates collaboration between the city's institutions of higher education, corporate members and the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment and NYCEDC.

CVS Health Grant Focuses on Vaping, E-Cigarette Prevention
Manhattan College’s Kinesiology department has been awarded a grant from CVS Health to implement their recently launched e-cigarette prevention program, CATCH My Breath. CATCH My Breath is an e-cigarette and JUUL prevention program that aims to provide middle and high school students with the skills to resist peer pressure and media influences to try e-cigarettes.
